This is all over the Adrian Arrington recruitment. You mod (at the time) claimed he didn't choose Iowa because Michigan told him (in particular Carr) that you were going back to running a wishbone. It was simply not true and was confirmed by Arrington himself that it never happened. Yet, your mod (at the time) kept pushing the fake narrative. Many of you guys bought into it and I originally asked him to take it down...when he dug his heels in the ground I said I can spread rumors too.... explained exactly what I was going to do...that I would post on my board Iowa players were on roids and they would believe it because it is the interwebs...they did of course and proved my point...but it wasn't hard to do because every program had PED issues at that time...not every program had a mod who just flat out made up a lie to make his users feel better...

Btw...this is what disappoints me about you guys ..

Arrington's recruitment went into full speed when Iowa and Brad Banks were tossing the ball around...but yet many of you believed the claim Michigan told him that Iowa was going to run a wishbone...not a spread option (which was starting to hit higher levels and was not anti-wr)...but an actual wishbone...

So only a Mod can post things that get back to players? Makes perfect sense. Spreading a false rumor about kids and using the 'well I told people that I was going to, that makes it okay' or the 'I don't personally know anyone who was hurt by my comment therefore it must not have hurt anyone'
