UPDATE: Dawn Staley uses Race Card. Accuracy of Calls in LSU-IOWA Game was 88%. Independent Review said it was Much Lower than that. The norm is 91%.

Dawn wakes up every day and shuffles a new deck of race cards. Ms. Staley, if you, as a phenomenally gifted player and knowledgeable coach, can't see that those three women were absolutely horrendous, you are being disingenuous. It doesn't matter if they're white, black, brown, green, red, yellow, etc.
just went back and read some of the stuff... man whatever it takes to give someone and edge or chip. So delusional.

to some people, any criticism towards a black person is being racist.

After the game Bluder said the game was like a bar fight, meaning very physical between both teams.

"If you know me, I speak tongue in cheek a lot, and I was saying an analogy of you've got to rebound like you're in a bar fight," Bluder said. "That's all. It doesn't say who's fighting, right? But that's fine. I've never been in a bar fight, by the way."

"We're not bar fighters. We're not thugs. We're not monkeys. We're not street fighters," Staley said. "This team exemplifies how you need to approach basketball on the court and off the court. And I do think that that's sometimes brought into the game, and it hurts."

When I hear the term bar fight, I immediately imagine a bunch of dumb honkeys because we love a good bar fight.

Right let’s make everything about race. Let’s not treat the refs equally and give honest criticism as we do other refs. Heck they made a new rule so a technical couldn’t be called for Caitlin passing the ball to the ref lol. Calling their calls wrong 12% of time is hardly being overly critical. So sensitive.

I get the bad calls but don’t let a player off the bench go off with 7 3’s in the first and second quarters. That’s what lost the game for Iowa. Felt like I was watching a men’s game with poor perimeter defense.

If that player doesn’t go off and make everything she threw at the rim then yes, the bad balls play an even bigger part of the game. Those refs were bad no doubt, calling cheap fouls at one end and not at the other end with near muggings and horrible tech vs CC22.

yep, it is her account and her opinions.

she has over 179,000 followers.
I made comments last year about her when she cancelled one of their games because of made-up claims by a volleyball player. Of course when she was proven wrong there was no apology or remorse. Someone on here called me out for calling her a racist but she has a long record of crap like this.

They called a bad game. They're professionals, and fair criticism is part of the gig.

Trying to block criticism because of their race or gender isn't doing them any favors. The end goal is to have them treated no different than any other official, so do just that. Praise their successes, and critique their shortcomings.
