This was an actual restaurant in Silvis. It is unfortunately closed now. Ironically (or maybe not) it was right down the street from Porkies.

Here is an actual place in the Ozarks about half way between the dam and the end of the Lake.

Oh, gawd. I've eaten there twice. The first time it was so bad I assumed it was a mistake. The next time was exactly the same. The hot dogs are like shoes (although I've never actually eaten a shoe) and the fries are even worse.

Their Italian beef is usually very good as are the gyros. Fries and dogs can be spotty. It's solid overall though. Chicago transplant.

Same thing happened in IC when freaking Sonic opened. I've been to a Portillos once in the the Twin Cities and wasn't particularly impressed. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. It's always busy.
