It will be my first time going, can anyone tell me the best way to get there? Thanks

Here. This should help:

Go in the NW door by the Gable statue. Down the stairs to level 2. Turn left, there's a long hallway across from the BB practice area. Go down it and you will be there.

Me as a newbie didn't realize there is a second left to get down the long hallway.

I first took a left and saw a short hallway and thought I was in the wrong spot. Then got directions and realized there is that second left.

Any reports would be appreciated!
I'll give it a run. Apologies if messy but just stream of consciousness.

Lugo versus Dardanes (Chris?) was the best match. Lugo really frustrated Dardanes with his defense and Dardanes was so frustrated by a Lugo counter that he kicked Lugo in the throat when Lugo was behind him with one leg. Brands yelled "LUGO" during another exchange after an incredible counter where he was somehow able to square up when Dardanes had him in major trouble. One other point with Lugo: the kid's expression never changes (even after what appeared to be a blatant kick by Dardanes). He is all business all the time.

Gilman & Kemerer went at it early and Gilman did not enjoy much success. Clearly the weight difference was a large factor, but Kemerer got to Gilman's legs easily and finished quite often. Gilman dropped a few f bombs during the match. He was very frustrated but continued to coach Kemerer throughout the practice in different positions. Still a room leader.

Marinelli was working with Tom & M* and it looked like they were focused on his finishes. They were working him HARD. He had a hard time getting through M*'s hands defense when they went live although by that time Marinelli looked exhausted.

Spencer did really light technique work with Eustice. They're still working him back slowly, but when he does go full for brief moments, he is incredibly explosive. Eustice may not volunteer to go with Spencer next time as he looked gassed.

McDonough went against Happel; Turk against Laux. Murin against younger Meyer. Stoll against Costello. Didn't watch too much of the exchanges from this group.

Glosser went against the other Dardanes and performed quite well. He's sporting a really awful looking mullet, but I was really encouraged by his performance. I have no idea if he could make a run at 141, but I think he'd compete for the spot if he could get there.

Cassioppi was in the room (there was another young looking kid that might have been a recruit -- but that's pure speculation). Cass went against Brownlee I think. Marinelli was coaching him up near the end. There are some really high character guys in the room.

Wilke went against Moody. He still looks awfully small as a few people mistook him for Sorensen.

Warner versus Bowman. Both had moments. Warner sometimes requires a lot of runway to finish. Assume that's a strength issue? Tom came over at the end with Rutt and coached him on his stance. Warner is very lean. Has a ton of room for body development.

No Perry, Brooks, Meyer or Downey. Assume they all went to U23?

That's about all I remember. If you have questions about specific wrestlers, let me know. Keep in mind that there's probably 50 wrestlers in that room going live at the same time, so it's very easy to miss action.

Think it was Cassioppi’s brother. He has been around for a few days. A LOT smaller than his brother. You are right, they were all in Rochester.

Excellent job. Love the non-edited and off the cuff commentary.

Thanks for the summary Atkins. Any word on Young and Sorensen?

Great write up, but a couple of edits. Glosser's mullet is marvelous and Lugo kicked Dardanes ass across the mat. Lugo is a baaaaaaad maaaaaan.

Get used to Turk at 141, it's a lock. The weight is already settled. Bet. He's going to impress people.

Spencer is f-ing unreal. He's easily the quickest kid we've ever seen. Eustice made funny gasping noises more than once and he was on top. For a VERY short time..... The kid is an animal. P.s. he has a strong Midlands, he's a go. Fact.

Stoll is on a war path and will START the year at heavy IMO. He feels great and looks even better.

Most Impressive: Lugo
Most Surprising: Stoll (due to progression from injury)
Most Promising: Cass/Turk

Very encouraging practice IF we unleash the stars. If not, we are in BIG trouble. Until we can tell a recruit like Mark Hall "we'll give you 30% scholly and a $40,000 camp check each year"-we'll struggle (and that's a fact).

If you're good at reading between the lines, a bridge will break in a program. We just need to be there with a life raft. The seeds have been planted.

With all that being said, Cael Sanderson is the biggest dirt bag in sports. He's being exposed.

Way to make a summary of an Iowa practice about Cael and PSU. Impressive

Crab,

What do you have for a recap?

Let's put our head in the sand & ignore the problem..... It will certainly go away.

If that's all you got out of my post, I feel sorry for ya. And quite frankly, anyone that invested time teaching you to read along the way. Sounds like it was kinda a waste of time for them.

Sounds quite ominous.

I liked the rest of your post. The summary was great. The last couple of paragraphs were completely unnecessary. Lots of other threads already out there for those comments.

Crab/Forum Monitor,

My guess is PSU/Bael/$ was discussed yesterday at practice by Back with someone, so for your much needed approval he included that to be a complete recap of practice in hopes of getting a passing grade from you. I guess he failed.

Since I missed the other thread where Hall's scholarship amount & camp $ was discussed fill me in. I'm sure Back will edit his post & find that thread to make a separate post to meet your approval.

So Lugo at 141 is completely out of the question I take it?

Do you even read this message board?

Crab,

Enough to know that you rarely have any worthwhile input, just criticisms. Back provides something useful for all of us, and because it doesn't fit what you "like" you try pissing on it.

Go write a "constructive criticism" letter to the editor of your local free periodical that gets delivered to your door weekly.

You've sucked me in, so now back to watching Blue Bloods......

If that is all true regarding PSU, is it legal? If so, wouldn’t he be a genius rather than a dirt bag? If it’s within the rules, why aren’t we doing it?

I think Crabs point is that we have an Iowa wrestling thread here and the last thing we need is the PSU trolls piping in and making it their thread
