A 2006 with 47K? Must have been driven by my grandma.
I would go with the newer car. It's still pretty low miles and Toyota engines run forever. It's the electrical and mechanical stuff that goes bad and that seems more dependent on age of the car and not mileage.
IMO, 68k highway miles is better than 47k in town miles. The last 2 times I looked for a used car I ended up buying a new one because the incentives were so good, and they were willing to deal.
A dealer will give you a good deal on a new car if they have the opportunity to service it regularly for you.
