I could have you confused with another poster, I just remember Houston being in the name. Maybe ButterMyPancakes knows who it is because it's usually us two arguing/mocking the people who never watch the NBA, yet make their cliches about the league.
No doubt Harden is a top five player, he's been 1st team all NBA the past two years. Harden carried the Rockets when they had a hurt Howard, Motiejūnas, Beverly, and Jones. He is fun to watch with his step backs and passing, but is not fun to watch when he drives to the rim. I can't stand the holding the arms out, same as I don't like when Bryant does the quick shot to get two free throws. You can say he's just taking what the defense gives him or say they don't need to reach in but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's aggravating to watch time after time after time.
As for the MVP to the other guy, it depends on if you classify it as MVP or MOP. Curry was the #1 option on the best team. Harden was single handily carrying Houston game after game while playing a bunch of minutes. Davis was the best player. James left Miami, and they missed the playoffs, while Cleveland goes to the finals. I think James is clearly the most VALUABLE player, year in and year out, he should have 6 or 7 MVPs (F U Derrick Rose). I thought Davis/Curry/Harden were the most outstanding last year, and it should've gone to Davis but having Curry or Harden win it would've been just fine.
Lastly, Devyn Marble will be getting more PT this year and I highly recommend getting NBA league pass as it's worth every penny.
