He should walk right up to Dirk at the first shootaround and tell him "Your time is over old man, it's Uthoff time now". Then push him and walk away. That's how you establish yourself in the league I think.

He'd be better off asking him to teach him everything he knows.
Hope to see him catch on or at least play enough minutes to make catch on somewhere. Yogi Ferrell did it with the Nets and ended up with the Mavs, Chasson Randle played well enough with the 76ers to end up back with the Knicks.

He was on the Pacers D-league team but as a free agent, like most guys in the D-league. The NBDL is a lot different from minor league baseball and not used as well as it could be. 10 day contracts are pretty much an audition, after ten days they can release him or sign him to another 10 day contract or pick him up for the rest of the year. But you can only sign two 10 day contracts in a row with one team
No Doubt, top five scorer all time, and a game similar in style to JU. Great oppurtunity.
Is Ben Bentil still there with the Mavs? He was called before Jarrod from Fort Wayne.
JU shooting well at his D league stop for Indy. He had a 28 pt game and 14 board game while there. He is such a quick learner, he could pick up offenses, plays, D in just a few practices. Jarrod has come a long way since I first spent time with him on a court. Good for him.
I think the Mavs are a good fit, don't really have a ball hog that tries to do way too much. Hopefully he can get some good minutes and show what he's got.
Playing the 5 for Fort Wayne, he has developed great post moves and incredible patience before putting shot up.

Speaking of which, When was the last time two players born in Iowa Played on the same NBA team?? Dallas now has two! And I just read that Adam Woodbury is on the Fort Wayne team that Uthoff was on.. he may need some more development..

Cedar Rapids/Marion grad Marcus Paige is currently a rookie on the Salt Lake City Stars D-League affiliate. Paige should have declared a year earlier when he was projected as a high draft pick but then I think was injured and he didn't play as well for the Tar Heels last year.

Found a couple short highlight segments of his last few games with the Mad Ants. Two things:
1. Kind of unbelievable that the home announcer doesn't even know how to pronounce his name.
2. Those uniforms in the 20/20 game... wow.
