This should be fun to watch and see how it unfolds. The other guy has the backing of the US government and we are now recognizing him as their president. I am curious on how this all plays out
 
AOC is not actually for "democratic socialism" as far as I can tell. Same with Sanders.

Instead they seem to be proponents of the nordic model of "socialism" -- which really isn't socialism at all, just stronger socialistic policy with an economy still based on free-market capitalism.

There are some merits to their approach.

Her and Bernie ought to clean up their language, though.

Actually being a proponent of democratic socialism would make her a radical given this definition:

"Democratic socialism is a political philosophy that advocates political democracy alongside social ownership of the means of production with an emphasis on self-management and democratic management of economic institutions within a market or some form of decentralized planned socialist economy."

Radical in the sense that this would require a dramatic upheaval of our current economic system. Not advisable.
