I think you will see a large movement in Europe to allow people to arm themselves. I say give people a fighting chance. My guess is that many people were killed while police were either on the way, or waiting outside. Obviously gun laws did nothing to stop the bad guys.

Neither when your body is blown to crap with shrapnel from a suicide bomber.

Or, you get shot reaching for your gun because you just put yourself at the top of the threat list. In the meantime, the people without guns are escaping the area.

This line of arguing is pointless because we can both just keep making crap up that fits our argument. The bottom line is, guns are only useful in these situations if you get the jump on somebody.
