I don’t play as much as I use to. Mainly because I feel bad for wasting away a hundred hours playing a game, when I could be doing something else. My main genre is rps/action rpgs.

Early access for Path of Exile 2 comes out in a couple weeks. That game looks bad ass. Looks like everything Diablo 4 should have been. Played the shit out of The original Path of Exile years ago. I’m probably going to pull the trigger on this one. I don’t feel as bad about playing a game in the winter when it’s cold and dark and nothing to do anyway.

Play Helldivers 2. Really addictive gameplay, but each mission is 40 minutes max so you can just play one mission and then go do other things. Plus, they are constantly updating the game and adding new content that doesn't cost extra. They do have premium items that can cost money but there is an in-game currency that you can earn on missions and be able to buy the premium stuff too if you want.

As for Path of Exile, I really did like the first one so I'll probably check out the second one as well.

Why you feel this way? It’s a hobby just like anything else

Mainly because I get sucked in too deep and I know it. Diablo 2, 20+ years ago, was probably the first game that drew me in like that. 100’s probably 1000’s of hours spent doing BAAL runs. It starts taking over my life, probably a little compulsive disorder. I have to get every little thing, do every stupid little side quest. Diablo 2 was diabolical in this. Certain drops are so rare that you might not get it in 100’s and 100’s of attempts. Then people started selling certain items of Diablo 2 on eBay, that soured me and I never really went back.

Been short on time lately, but sneak in Gears of War 2 online Horde mode when I can. Have gotten pretty good with the Long Shot.

Well, yeah. If you play games to the point other responsibilities don't get done then you need to cut back. Just like anything.

I enjoyed Ghosts of Tsushima. I just completed the story. It has a nice combat system. You can use a variety of tools in combat.

Diablo 2 Resurrected - pretty much just remastered for graphics and some new runewords is fantastic.

Come back for a dose of nostalgia and addiction.

I need to spend all my December paychecks on a PS5 and the games I've missed out on since its release (NCAA25, Helldivers 2, etc etc)...........

I signed up for Microsoft game pass a couple months ago. I've since put in about 200 hours in Farm Simulator 22.

I grew up in Iowa, I didn't know dick about farming. But now I'm the canola king, run a big corn silage operation. Just started doing cotton and turn that into textiles and then into clothes.

I've got all the cool equipment. JCB FastTracs. Fendt combines. Millions of dollars of Claas tractors. I love Claas.

And now I'm kind of bored because after grinding through the seasons and expanding my land empire, I've gotten rich enough to get the cool stuff. Now what?
