Video in response to "Talk to your kids about Iowa"

Ok, I am not sure, but let's say you're correct. Would you decline a spot in the CFP if you went on to win out?
In other words, what the hell is your point? You sound pretty jealous of where Iowa stands and seem to want to say Iowa is a fraud, but if you did have our schedule and stood at 8-0, what would your tune be?
Congrats on what you did 5,6,10, & 11 years ago? Maybe I'm dense, but not sure what that has to do with UT. I said the video was funny...I'm not worried about the SEC's rep, we're doing fine...my only points were:
1. Inbreds? That's weak.
2. You minimized our head to head bowl win by saying you were only a 7-6 team. Uh, we were, too. Actually, I guess that doesn't tell the whole story since Iowa was a 7-5 team coming in while UT was only 6-6.
3. The irony of an SEC myth video from Iowa fan considering that most recent bowl game. The one where you played an SEC team with a worse record. And got completely outclassed. Almost like it's not a myth that a 6-6 SEC team is much better than a 7-5 Big10 team. Are you following any of this?
Again though, that 7-5 Iowa team was playing much worse than a 7-5 team should have played. Not finishing games, apparently unaware of illegal forward pass rules, slotting a FB into the RB position, etc. So many things were wrong with that team.
On the other hand, I think that 6-6 Tennessee team was playing much better than a 6-6 team should. I'm just guessing you'd agree?

When you are 4-4 I guess you always want to be in someone else's conference? Not sure they would be favored by 7 at Wisky though.
Don't know what any of that has to do with the discussion to this point, but, regardless...I'm pretty sure both teams had a month to prepare so....ok. I mean we changed QB midseason, and started 2 Fr OL, Fr DE, Fr RB, Fr CB, and had 3 total DTs. What do you want me to say?
No Iowa hate here. My only original point was the irony of Iowa fan making that video since it's completely counter to the evidence from our bowl game. Then people get defensive and things take a turn.

You mean the same "arky" that lost to Toledo. The "Okie" that lost to a Texas team, in which Iowa State crushed. The same Bama, That lost to a 2 loss Ole Miss which includes Memphis? The same Florida that's starting QB is out for using a banned substance?
Does this mean you think Iowa would wax Arky? Arky was overrated coming into the season, but they're a good team. UT played poorly, but Arky deserved the win that day.
Ok.....for the record I really did not care for either video but that's just me. I am more along the lines of "just keep winning" and ignore the noise. Good luck the rest of the season.

And you might. We played the worst game vs them out of any of our losses. The other teams - Okie, UF, Bama are all very good, but we shouldn't have lost to Arky.
If you think a 2004 bowl game is relevant to this discussion you should step away from the intelligence retorts.
Good - you couldn't change to the Big 10 anyway as your recruits would need to sign their name on the letter of intent. Signing X doesn't work.
If you think last year bowl game has any relevance on this years Records and teams then you are the stereotypical Tennessee / SEC fan.

When was the last time Iowa played an SEC team prior to Iowa fan making a video about the SEC myth?
I've been pretty nice, IMO, but there you go calling me irrelevant. So, here's the truth: You'll likely finish with a great record, but not undefeated, then face a team with a worse record in the bowl and get smoked. Again.
Personally I would love to see an 8-4 UT face 11-1 Iowa....I would bet my entire double-wide and borrow money from my sister-cousin just to put more action on the Volunteers cause that is a guaranteed cover. Cheers.
I don't speak for the SEC. I didn't come here cheerleading for the SEC. I have simply stated the irony of the video in light of the UT-Iowa bowl game. That is all. But some folks didn't like that....
Did you even watch the video you dumb f*****. Do you even understand what the SEC myth is about?
Go look at the preseason rankings and look at how many SEC teams were in the top 25. Now go look at them and see how many teams are in the top 25.
I believe there are six teams that were ranked in the top 25 that are not now. That's how the SEC myth has come about.
The SEC coaches rank each other's teams as high as they possibly can each week so they can claim victories over highly ranked teams.
That's how the SEC dominated in the BCS era. Yes overall they had better teams than most conferences but the one year that it finally comes to a playoff and they get their ass handed to them.
that tells us all we need to know about the SEC bias.

ESPN talking heads were coached up to say "Memphis" and "Iowa" in the same sentence as much as possible.
By doing this, invalids think Iowa = Memphis. Invalids think Iowa is an AAC team. Invalids think Iowa's conference championship will be against either Houston or Temple, so they will not have any quality wins, ever.
What this also accomplishes is anyone who attempts to compare Iowa football to Alabama, Stanford, etc... has to jump the ridiculous Memphis hurdle.
Same political strategy employed by politicians... Legislative/Executive branches do not have the power to overturn supreme court rulings. Debating abortion/gay marriage/gun control is an exhausting and feudal activity. These are just hot button issues that get people riled up and distract the masses from real issues. In a political debate, before candidates talk about things they might be able to change, they have to jump through the family value hoop.

With all due respect, you know (and we all know) that you didn't come on here to innocently comment on the video and not expect it to rile folks up. I have nothing against the Vols. They whipped us last year. We came out better in the end because of that bad experience. Every Hawk fan knows that we could lose ANY game we play. When real banter is happening, I never see a Hawk fan claim we are unbeatable. But, if someone comes onto the Hawk board to disparage what we have done this year, in some way or fashion, they are going to get some of that back. Heck, even you as a Vols fan did the same thing when the Vols rep was attacked in response the video comment you made here.
