I've never watch this guy's video before but he starts out saying that Spencer might be lying about the torn ACL (keep watching). It's all part of how what Spencer did was insane.
There is part of the video where a medical doctor watches the video of the BTT and cannot see where Spencer tore his ACL and cannot see any change. In my personal experience, when I tore my ACL, I felt a failure but no pain. That being said, I did NOT win a National Championship 8 days after I tore my ACL (among other things, I didn't have an eligibilty left). Currently family vacation planning and my wife asked me if I could hike ten miles on the AT and started making excuses on why she couldn't do it (elevation, terrain, back). I told her that "Excuses are for wusses". I imagine I be wishing I hadn't said that in a couple of weeks.
Back to the video. Good stuff.
