I know this is the football board, but. Vince India, former Hawkeye golfer, made his first PGA start this week at the VALSPAR CHAMPIONSHIP at Palm Harbor, Florida. Thursday he finished about 5-6 strokes behind the leader. Our Naples paper did not show any score for him from the Friday round so I do not know if he made the cut or not. Would some one who knows please report how India performed on Friday, the second round?

Vince shot 72,78 (par 71) and missed the cut by 5 shots. Not a bad showing for his first event.

Takes a while to get comfortable and know you belong.

He can forever say he beat Els, Weekley, Cink and Immelman!!
