I think O’Connor had to wrestle 3 Hawkeyes. Glosser and Lugo, too.
Yup…Glosser was close with him as well.

This match was right in front of me and Chief. AOC with a blatant headgear pull on winning td. M* was LIVID.Yup…Glosser was close with him as well.
Half this lineup will be collecting social security before too long.Wow, I had no idea that Turk had eligibility remaining. Has anybody contacted Grothus?Or Slaton?

They're both experienced fringe AA types. Until they prove otherwise that's who they are. If Turk is a full fledged 149 lber these days, this will be a coin flip situation IMO. And their spot on the podium as well, without some improvement. They're both solid, we could and have had worse options.I guess I’m in the minority here but I see Murin as a solid wrestler and a low AA should be his floor..... he was right there last year..... another year in the room..... hopefully a healthy year
his biggest hurdle is between the ears.... he should be gaining maturity every year.... that should help
I’m all for Turk being back in the room I just think Murin is the clear cut starter
Just my opinion.... said I was probably in the minority..... respect your thoughts but I think Murin has the higher ceiling and is more consistent...... you know what they say about opinions 😎They're both experienced fringe AA types. I'm not arguing, and you may not be in the minority. Both are capable DI wrestlers. Either could sneak on to the podium, but I'll believe it when I see it. Be happy to see it.Just my opinion.... said I was probably in the minority..... respect your thoughts but I think Murin has the higher ceiling and is more consistent...... you know what they say about opinions 😎
That’s what I was thinking as wellI actually see murin in the 4-6 range ( or better). I’d put money on it.
I agree with this. If I remember correctly I think Murin got Covid right after big tens last year, which forced him to miss the majority of his practice time leading up to nationals. If he’s healthy heading into nationals I think he’s an AA already. There’s nothing wrong with a little competition though, so I’m okay with Turk coming back.I actually see murin in the 4-6 range ( or better). I’d put money on it.
Or at least how to wear a PT belt.Well, I’ve shot guns most of my life and never pulled a trigger by accident… Maybe the military at least taught him something about gun safety.
Mono not covid.I agree with this. If I remember correctly I think Murin got Covid right after big tens last year, which forced him to miss the majority of his practice time leading up to nationals. It was mono, and he didn't step on the mat until nationals.I agree with this. Just curious...if one has mono, are they more or less likely to contract it again at some point. Or...no difference? It was mono, and he didn't step on the mat until nationals.
Pretty sure you're never supposed to get it again once you've had it.Just curious...if one has mono, are they more or less likely to contract it again at some point. Or...no difference?
and god knows how many concussions.... I remember playing football hell in practice getting a knee in the side of the helmet.... and actually losing consciousness for a second...... and it’s go sit a play out until the stars go away and right back in.....wasn’t any concussion protocol..... no wonder I can’t remember anything 😜Pretty sure you're never supposed to get it again once you've had it.
When I had it during high school football the impression my parents and coaches gave me is that since I had it I wouldn't ever get mono again.
Funny side note that this made me remember, I have to laugh at our old football water fountain (a long pvc pipe hooked up to a garden hose) that we'd all be drinking from... Pretty sure that's how I got mono, don't think that would fly during Covid days 😅

you are on- murin AA you pay— if he doesn’t qualify obviously you win, if he doesn’t wrestle it’s a push$100 to wfl. I love Murin but he won't AA.

no, just don’t want to lose to a technicality and it’s a long season. Also, maybe out of the blue turk finds some other shots than his nice double and beats murin.(very slim chance)Glad he is returning, Turk really is a tough customer and has shown flashes of being an AA type wrestler. I just feel Max is going to be the high to mid AA wrestler. I remember watching him last summer against the top 49 guys and was right there. Does anyone know where Yianni is wrestling, 41 or 49?Hopefully he wrestles. Is there an injury to be concerned about? (Just to be clear, I hope Muirn proves me wrong. He's a good kid.)
The pvc pipe have little holes drilled into the top? Lol we had the same thing in middle school. Like a bunch of little water fountains. Had to get on the dumber guys all the time for putting their mouth on that thing Yeah the days of everyone drinking out of the same bottles is over with.Pretty sure you're never supposed to get it again once you've had it.

Now I'm not throwing shots at certain people, but it always seemed to be the linemen tonguing the crap out of the pvc pipe lolThe pvc pipe have little holes drilled into the top? Our main problem in HS was the damn guys on the bench, well sidelines we had no bench lol, would suck down all the water. Then when we had a break there would be hardly any water left lol. Our coach would go ape shit.
In college we had these rolling water tanks with like four hoses hooked to them It kept the water nice and cold until someone stuffed a big rub of snuff into the end of the hose smh. That was the end of that machine lol.
