its weird that the B1G is playing its conf tourney this week while the other P5 conferences have reg season games

“Weird” isn’t the first adjective that came to mind when I heard about this.

Because the Big East plays their tournament at MSG (3/7-3/10) and wouldn’t move it. Rightfully so.

It’s just odd not seeing any B1G tournament games on ESPN, who has picked up opening round games since the beginning of the tournament.

Another positive for playing in NYC for the B1G tournament. The B1G teams going to the dance could have a 13 day break in between games. Yikes.

Delany has been in charge during the time that a lot of revenue has come to the conference. I don't know how much credit he deserves for that. But if he is going to get that credit, then he deserves criticism for bad moves like this one. Having the B1G tourney in NYC is dumb. Changing the B1G season to do that is just plain stupid.

It could be even longer than that. If Mich loses their first game & don’t play until Friday of tourney, they’ll have a 15 day break.
