I can remember some forums years ago had a "voteban" option.

Essentially, if a troll invaded a particular interest group, members who had at least a years tenure could initiate a "voteban" and if the majority voted the troll out within 12 hours or so, then that account was automatically banned for 60 days or something.

I'm torn. We have a few that would overreact and it may get old. On the other hand, there are so many trolls that need to something better to do.

What are we a bunch of snowflakes who cannot handle trolls and people with differing opinions? The easiest way to deal with trolls is to stop feeding them- they usually get bored when they are unable to wind any one up and leave.
