Wadley at Senior Bowl Practices

I have a sneaky feeling Wadley becomes a slot receiver unless he can finally begin packing on good weight. Or some teams will view him as such and back off.

One of my best friends reminds me of this. Never, ever has had an ounce of fat on him, now closing in on 50. Lean and strong for his size. I've known him for almost 35 years, and the guy just plain doesn't eat much.

We asked him, why do you rarely eat. He said he grew up really poor, and there was never much food around. Can't eat what you don't have - and once he started working, he never changed.

I know Wadley didn't exactly have a silver spoon in his mouth...I've always wondered if his case about putting on weight was a similar thing - plainly doesn't eat a whole lot, and maybe never will either.

He eats a ton of fast food

For some reason I'm really pulling for Wadley. Whether it's because he fought his way out of KF's doghouse or because he came back for his senior year because his momma wanted him to. That and I have always liked his personality. I'm really hoping he has a terrific nfl career.
I would be curious as to how many times Wadley fumbled in his career as compared to Weisman.

Interesting how that video when it came to pass catchers (before RBs) Lazard wasn't even mentioned. He said 3 names none of them from ISU. HA! To paraphrase for those to lazy to watch the video. What I heard... the most stand out RB was Akrum Wadley. Showed a variety of skills in pass catching & mobility.

38 yds on 8 carries, 4.8 yd avg w/ a long of 15. Not bad but didn’t have enough touches to have his typical dazzler or two.

I'm pulling for him harder than anyone since Clayborn and, before him, Tate.
