I noticed a lot of future hawkeyes liked it, as well as liked Costello's reply. It seems like gut feelings are the best, after all of Todds recruiting interviews this off season, the two who I felt the best about were Warner and Murin.. Berge didn't really seem that excited by Iowa, but the other two already seemed all in. Maybe, just maybe TnT & M* know what they're doing!
Probably nothing to get excited about... I'm sure Ohio State will be wrestling against Penn State sometime.

I was in the room when the recruit's were in town before Wisconsin game and Berge was VERY aloof. All recruits were laughing and joking except him.
Wait a minute, I thought he said Penn St was all CRAZY fun? Then why the aloofness Mr. Berge? Maybe YOU'RE the one that's no fun!
No need to attack a high school kid on a message board just because he didn't choose your favorite school.
I observed the same thing as HTAuto that morning, and it gave me a bad feeling about landing Berge. But I'm not going to get bent out of shape over the fact that he seemed aloof. Hell, Gable can be pretty aloof. Maybe it's just Berge's personality. Maybe he was stressed out by the whole recruiting process. Maybe he was already 99% certain he wasn't going to be a Hawk but felt like he owed it to himself or someone else to give Iowa one final chance. I really have no idea. It was his choice and he made it. Best of luck to him and go Hawks!

Alright take it easy Captain Sensipants, I was quite obviously making a joke. Berge basically said he picked PSU because it was more fun than the other schools he visited. Then HT Auto posts that he saw that all the other recruits were laughing and joking except for Brady, who was aloof. I found this contrary and ironic, so I made a joke. Certainly wouldn't actually rip on a high school kid. However, Berge wouldn't ever see it because as everyone knows HR is no fun.
