Personally I think being an election denier should disqualify anyone from that position. It shows a major lack of critical thinking and common sense. But she will get sworn in.

I disagree. Schiff, amongst others, established by her unwillingness to disabuse, that perhaps she might not be able to tell the POTUS "no".
In many ways Bondi might be Trump's best nomination. But, I can not escape my doubts about her independence. She will have to be stronger than I suspect she is to resist Trump given his public statements about going after so many public figures that dare to disagree with him. Bondi, like the rest of Trump's nominees, are being at least partially judged not by their words, but by Trump's.
She is highly qualified just based on her years as a prosecutor and then the 8 years as the Florida AG.

Don't spend much time fretting about individuals. Know for certain that Trump does not intend to fill a single spot with someone who is not a sycophant. If he slips up and names one or two who can think for himself it won't make a measurable difference.
Last time he felt obligated to nominate qualified individuals, and wound up paying the price because many were not blindly loyal. He has no intention of making that mistake again.
It is going to be a clown show. Just accept it.
She is qualified as she is lawyer, she has been a state AG for some years, she has practiced law. She may not know the constitution as well as she needs to but she knows the main parts of evidence, charging, etc etc.
But as a person who can't say and admit that Joe Biden won the 2020 election I think she is not qualified, a puke, and a Trump bootlicker who will pledge her oath to Trump over the constitution.
I am sure there are more qualified individuals from a legal knowledge standpoint. AG Barr was qualified but he did several main things for Trump that were highly questionable.

All it took was a $25,000 "donation" from Trump to convince Bondi not to investigate Trump U. Pretty clear where her allegiances lie.

She has the bonafides, but is not bringing sufficient independence to the job. Won't stop her from being confirmed. Lack of good advice for Trump could end up hurting him badly.
And she couldnt bring herself to say the convicted Jan 6 rioters, who commited violence on Capitol Cops, the Cap building and threatened Congress and the VP, were not as Trump calls them innocent and heroes.

However, what I found concerning watching her this morning was how defensive she was if Trump and his positions when asked “hypothetical” questions by Durbin, Blumenthal, Whitehorse and Klobacher. Also…. Why can’t these folks admit out loud and in public that Biden defeated Trump in the 2020 election? Why the denial?
