Hawks had a no-hitter just broken up. Wallace, Probst and Dreyer each pitched 2 innings of it.

Games like this against teams what will hurt your RPI if you drop a game to then you just want to find a way to win and move on. I look at games like this and against Western Illinois as "survive and advance".

With that said, hats off to the pitchers for coming in and pitching pretty darn good. Walked a few, but also worked out of jams. Especially in the 8th with 2nd/3rd and 1 out. I'd like to see Cam Baumann have some success. He has had chances to pitch, but he cannot buy an out right now.

Offensively Iowa needs to do more. Had a chance with bases juiced in the 1st and did a little damage in the 3rd.

Against Minnesota, Michigan, and Oklahoma State if you have bases loaded you need to find a way to put up a crooked number. You may not get the chance again.
