It kinda did appear it was "meaningless" to the Hawks, in the first half.
These players and coaching staff put tons of time and effort into a year of football. All we fans have to do is drink some beer and let everyone know how smart
It was fun to watch a Bowl win. I'd forgotten what it looked like.
I didn't. Every year around bowl season I'd watch a tape on my VCR of a bowl game the Hawks won. I didn't have to this season, fortunately.

I will always have fond memories of this team because of what they did to OSU. Additionally, I think this program will really miss the leadership of JJ.

This Iowa team also crushed the dreams of Urban Meyer, every member of the Buckeyes team, alumni, and fan base.
That and this bowl win will be how I choose to remember the 2017 edition of the Iowa F-ing Hawkeyes.
I'm happy with how the season ended. One can always focus on what could have been, but I love the way the team responded tonight to win. So the coaches made adjustments at half including likely firing up the squad for the second half. They done their job for once right. Coached and played properly in the end.

Because there is only 3 times a year BTN allows games that don't include Ohio State and Michigan. Those games are carelessly selected by staff members who don't give a rip about any other teams in the conference.
