I don’t see PSU getting more than a few points at 25,33,41, and possibly a round of 12 guy at 97! If NATO gets top three, I think OSU is a Lock. Martin,Moore,Snyder, will get some bonus. I don’t think Zain will get bonus in semis or finals against Sorensen or Oliver or Deakin. Also, I don’t think Nolf gets bonus in finals.

Yes, the very few points at 25,33,41 and R12 guy at 97 cost them dearly last year. They only scored 140+.

25 is clearly a hole that isn't getting fixed this season, we will see about the rest. If PSU puts Nick Lee out there at 141 he could very easily AA imo. Maybe it's just me but Caesar looks tough, and Keener is a 3 time NCAA qualifier. I'll put the combined win total of those 2 at NCAAs at 3.5 and take the over.

Was it my only one eye I have left?
That Keener at 133 look dam huge.
Has darn oak trees for legs.

- 125, 133 look to be long shots to score any meaningful points.
- 141 and 197 have potential to AA. 141 is stacked and I think Lee is a probably a round of 12 guy, since anytime he has faced anyone with top 10 talent he has lost. 197 is a wide open weight but could easily see Cessar not AA. He is also a injury risk too.
-HWT is gonna AA unless he gets hurt. Although even in his wins he does seem not as sharp as he did last year.

I’m high on Deakin after watching him live at Midlands. He’s always looking to score, should be able to AA this year

Boykin is a monster. I think he rises in the rankings quickly. Plus we often bicker about judging our guys by one loss. Nevills is a solid AA.

Is Boykin even the starter? He was beaten by his teammate, Malik McDonald earlier this year.

Boykin is not ranked because he missed 1st semester due to...maybe grades according to someone I know. Don't like to put that out there, but he is a kid who was an academic risk coming in because of his background and the grades issue is most likely not due to normal college irresponsibility. He's tough, but Nevills should not be losing to him. You play with fire in close matches and sometimes you get burned.

Not broken up about it as Boykin is from my district in PA. My son wrestled him more than a few times in their youth and he is a very, very nice kid from a tough background. He is a case were wrestling has given him an opportunity to get a degree when he probably never would have even been a candidate to get an education past high school. His coaches got him involved in wrestling in 7th grade and look how far he has come. Good story, a really nice kid to root for.

Nevis needs to lose a few pounds.
He is not as fast on his feet as he use to be..IMO
An opinion shared by more than a few. Extra weight helps him on top where he is really good, but has hurt his neutral offense.

Too early to say either way. Some teams peak at the right time. Like it or not they peaked at the right time last year with Joseph and Hall. The other 3 are just blah all the time. That and NATO has yet to be heard from. So how serious and how hard will the cut be for him. Could be nothing and could be something. I will tell you what I think after NCAA’s. I should know by then.

Still think PSU will be the favorite.

PSU is returning 5 national champs ... something practically unheard of. Likely 3 champs with tons of bonus pts in Retherford, Nolf and Nickal. Hall will be a cofavorite and Joseph will have a good shot at making finals.

If Lee goes at 141, that, along with Cassar and Nevills would add more points.

tOSU does have a chance, and here's hoping they do win. Anyone but PSU (outside of Iowa pulling off some sort of miracle).
