Watson offered from Buford, Georgia

Buford has always been a football school. Very good academics and sports teams, send a lot of kids to Georgia. Will be hard to lure him out of the South.

I give Fran and his staff credit, he is offering early and developing relationships. Iowa has never gotten a Mr. Basketball runner-up from Indiana. Great get. Can't remember when we got a commit from someone in the DC area, let alone someone offered by Georgetown, Notre Dame and Indiana.

Fran continues to build the talent pool at Iowa. Not to mention, he and his staff are good developers of talent.

I just keep getting more excited by all the offers going out for 2019.

1) To be a year ahead of many teams, all our assets can go into this head start.

2) I have to imagine there is some sort of litmus test of a kid's interest before an offer is given.

Is this Marcus Watson who's listed also as being from North Carolina? If so, think he could be a real good get- athletic sky walker who can shoot.
