Not sure why you would think UCLA too low but do they return a lot from last years team? Not sure and too lazy to look them up
Illinois returns 18 of 22 starters from a 10-3 team.
They are actually #3 in returning production, with the hawks coming in at #65 according to ESPN. It is an interesting topic with the transfer portal that many of these guys were starters at other programs.

Yeah, but there was a time not long ago when Wisconsin was competitive with the top of the league year in year out. The last three years they have really dropped off averaging 6 losses and the trajectory hasn't changed. I think Fickell is done after this year.
That is an absolute murders row for a schedule. They could have Ron Dayne and Gordon in the back field, both Watt brothers, and Leonard, and that would still be tough to get to 8 wins with.

Mainly based on the way they played closing out the year with a new coach. I could see the improvement and jump they made from the start of the year. Think they had them 14 or so if I remember and I feel like they were more of a 10 or 11 by the end of the season last year.
It's a tough schedule, but last year they lost to Iowa by 32, Nebraska by 19, and Minnesota by 17. Ain't no way a vintage Wisky team is losing those games, let alone by those margins. That program is in the shitter.
LOL laughable. Hawks and Purdue will battle it out for last place. Hawks are going to be awful. Another soft bad D but even worse than last year. Another laughable offense. And road games vs teams that will enjoy running it up vs this awfu team.
They purged all of their Iowa connections.
I think Wisconsin's fall can be explained by the retirement of Barry Alverez.
They are as crazy as Barta, first losing season in 25 years, they give him a 1 year extension to 2032.
They did solid in the portal as well.
