Tough 2nd round matchup and a rematch with Notre Dame, they handled us pretty easily in the first matchup.
As meaningless as some may argue that is right now it's still pretty cool to see in print.
Would love a rematch with ND. In the first game, Uhl, Baer, Ellingson, Jones and Wagner were held scoreless. We got three total points from our bench and those were from Fleming. Seriously doubt that would be the case if we met again.
Saw this and love it to be true. Iowa in Des Moines with a #2 Kansas on the other side. USA Today showed 6 B1G teams in the dance.
Iowaaah as a #1 seed would bring about the first #16 victory over a 1. That, coupled with the Rose Bowl blowout would make for a great sports year.
Is Iowa guaranteed to play in dsm if a 1 or 2 seed? Or could they still be sent anywhere?
