Pretty sure Lisa said in the interviews at open practice that Ava was not going because there would be a lot of walking on uneven terrain, and she just had surgery, so too soon.
Correct. Unfortunately @Franisdaman has been spreading falsehoods on this site by telling people that her recent shoulder surgery was her last one. Sad when posters make up stuff about the health of someone like Ava just to garner clicks and likes.

@JEDN do you have a link to the story regarding the eye procedure that Ava needs? And is it major surgery like what was done on her knees and her shoulder? Thank you. Maybe the troll will then finally shut up and go back under his bridge

Big takeaways:
- Affolter with 15 rebounds and 16 pts? Jesus.
- Stuelke and Affolter both 2/4 from 3. Nice.
- Stuelke 0/2 from FT. Not great.
- 8/8 for O’Grady is phenomenal but the lack of rebounds / blocks is a bit concerning.
- McCabe seems to coming along as expected/hoped.
- Looks like Feuerbach didn’t play. That’s rough, guess she had a bit of a hiccup in her recovery?
- What happened to Marshall? 4 steals is nice tho.

I would guess they want a look at McaCabe, they know what they have with Gabby. I would also expect that it was a lot of Clark to OGrady as they try to develop that chemistry.
PrimeTime league stats. I wouldn’t put much stock into how these games go. With that said, would rather have them making shots than not.

I'm hoping that Iowa isn't scheduled for their 3rd game against the same Croatian All-Stars team that Arkansas just beat 124-12 today (they do have the same name). No need for Iowa to play that one. Although the Slammers team didn't have anyone over 6' tall, they at least had put up a fight vs Boston College, and were mildly competitive vs Ole Miss. I know the trip isn't for competition necessarily, but YIKES.
