Last night was pretty fun tossing it downfield, breaking off big runs, great special teams…lots of positives and if we could get 337 yards a game in the big ten that would probably be good enough to challenge for the west.
that Nevada team though…that should be a 56-0 game with 500+ yards of offense. I think a lot of fans don’t even realize how bad 337 yards of offense is. That is like 107th in the country. 425 yards is average.
I was happy last night and happy today though with a convincing shutout win. I believe we will continue working out butts off to get better, but ultimately we won’t even be able to sniff an average offense.
Watch some other games that aren’t Iowa to reset your normal. The college game is pretty wild. I think Ohio STe and Michigan may beat us by 40 but I still think a bowl game of some sort is an attainable goal
