Not sure if we are back or not. I thought Troy looked like a well coached team. We wore them down in the second half and won closer to the margin you might expect.

At this point this might be the ceiling. I actually could see a season like 2008 when Shonne Greene picked up the team and carried it on his back. I see the defense getting better over the course of the year. The only issue is most of the team will be gone next year so we will get to see how good recruiting has been.

At least the running game was sound.
But even that has to be taken in the context of an opponent that was 0-2 (now 0-3) who had lost to a bad Nevada team and was soundly beaten by Memphis.

We have a lot to work on. Surprised at our pass defense and giving up big plays. I’m thinking 7-5 is the ceiling. We need to try both QB’s although glad to see our inside 10 changes. Been pretty disappointing considering how many starters we have back. OMG, next year?
