We sit at 4-2. What will be our final regular season record? 4-8, 10-2, or somewhere in between?

What will be Iowa's final regular season record?

Whatever record is going to give us the best shot at a bowl win... I of course would love for the Hawks to win out, and would never pull for a loss under any circumstance, but with this year's team, I think a 7-5 record would not be anything to be ashamed of. This would most likely put this team in a bowl against a team more on par with IOWA's talent level this season, and hopefully give the Hawks a much needed bowl win.

I think we can beat Wisconsin. By the time we play, the best team they will have played all year is probably Purdue. I expect us to improve more than them as the year progresses, especially with our young QB and OL. There's about a 50/50 chance we will lose to a team we shouldn't to.

Isn’t it funny, as you said by the time we play Wisconsin the best team they probably have faced to this point is Purdue yet they have a top 10 ranking and the media is just gushing over them. Yet when Iowa went 12-0 we were bashed for having a weak schedule and we were called the fake ID of college football. Funny how that works for some teams but not others

All due respect, but it actually makes perfect sense. See, good programs get the benefit of the doubt. How many B1G championships, B1G title games, and Rose Bowl appearances has WI had in the last decade or so?

And, FYI, WI went 10-2 last year with a very difficult schedule.

With that history of success, it’s fair to assume they’d be having a very good year even with a difficult schedule.

Iowa? Not so much.

The only game Iowa has to be a considered downright no chance in Hades is the Buckeye game. That's the most talented team save for Alabama.

Is Wisconsin better than Penn State is the real question. Barkley is a beast and Iowa nearly beat them. The MSU game was a letdown after the near upset so I say running the table sans tOSU game.

I would take 9-3 and I think most on here would.

Iowa will go 10-2 because Stanley is gonna start hitting those deep passes and the D is gonna stop the run more efficiently the rest of the season. Iowa's team is young and only going to get better as the year progresses. Win out this year and look for a season for the ages next.
