It seems like two or three times a year Joey Numbnuts from Nebraska or Northwestern just erupts with an ungodly career shooting performance and the Hawks lose a winnable game.

I was getting that queasy feeling early in the 2nd half and it deteriorated to resignation as the half progressed.

Nothing new against Michigan though. Some bench player made a name for himself last year when he put up a career high against Iowa. And another player the year before that and even another player the year before that if I remember correctly.

But you know what? Those moments, as frustrating as they are, actually motivate me to step up my game in my own niche. It's like they light a fire under me to work harder and improve. Gotta take inspiration wherever we can find it, right? 💪
