So far in Ottumwa- dusting of snow and now the sleet is coming down heavily. Looks like the heavy snow hits shortly. temp 30.

Omaha was originally forecasted to get 8-12 inches. Now it has dropped 4-6 inches which is fine by me.
It's cooled off some much where I'm at I don't believe we'll need to run the AC today!
Listening to the pings of sleet against the windows right now. Stay away freezing rain. MidAmerican has never gotten around to giving me below ground power lines.
Our drive from CF to the CR airport should be interesting...and the degree of difficulty went up as my step mom will be in the truck!
8-10" predicted for south central Minnesota with snow beginning after 12pm. Hoping to get snowed in for happy hour this evening with the dream of beginning tomorrow's workday around 10am.
And this is why we're moving to Florida. This winter has been the nicest in Iowa so far that I can remember. Today though is a nice reminder of why we're making the move.
I've got freezing rain mixed with a little snow in North Liberty. Could be a treacherous drive no matter how you slice it and no matter how far you go.
No matter how nice the temps are the state is still full of Floridians.
Drive took an hour 45 with one brief stop. Dropped my step mom off at the Gilbertville exit so if you see her walking this way be sure to wave.
Actually, a true Floridian is pretty rare. Most of the troublemakers are originally from somewhere else.
No kidding....but Charlotte is 70 this week, though we're going to continue to get a bunch of rain. This is an odd winter so far.

Yeah it is. This Iowa winter reminds me of a mild Wichita winter.

Jeebus! Some of you really have no idea how to drive when it's snowing. Take the time to clear off your windows. I had two cars careen around me in the parking lot at the Sycamore Mall after seeing Star Wars, and neither car had clean windows.
