WELL....CRAP!!! Thanks Illinois!!!

Or they could be losing their confidence and Iowa could be coming off a big win today!

First, Iowa is better than MSU. Second, MSU has lost four of its last five. I like that trend. Iowa and the Hawkeye fans should be sky high from BEFORE the opening tip on Tuesday night. Can't somebody in Iowa City do SOMETHING to help give Iowa a true home court advantage? Can't they figure out some way to get under the thin skin of the Bully of the Big Ten and his little crybabies? There was a time when Iowa fans would have been lickin' their chops to go after the Izzo. I hope there are still a few of them who can show up and do their thing on Tuesday night. Destroy MSU.

MSU is such a weird team. I really haven't felt like they are good but will probably be hanging on in the 20s. I think we can get them as long as they don't kill us from three.

MSU is going to come into our game PISSED OFF!!! We will probably leave that game on a 3 game losing streak (assuming we lose to OSU today) as Izzo ties Knight for the record. UGH!!!!!
DANGIT!!! COME ON HAWKS!!!!!!!
Damn this losing streak!

NIT here we come. On the skids, really wanted/needed that Michigan W. Oh well, not surprised
We'll get that Michigan W; we just have to wait until 3/3 in AA. In retrospect, we'll be glad that team is playing as well as they are that late in the season.

But you can watch the NIT if you want.

I said three weeks ago that Sparty was highly overrated, when MSU was tied for the lead in the B1G. Almost all posters predicting our finish on a thread were assuming a loss to Sparty. Hawks need to play with the intensity on the boards as today, because this is going to be a game with a lot on the line for both teams. MSU will come to impose their will with physical play.

I used to like Izzo but I know realize he's a schmuck.
We need to put them down.
I realize they lost and there WAS admittedly a bad call that went against him, but … wow, his press conference could not have been a worse contract with Underwood’s. Izzo whined and pouted the whole time.

When Izzo/MSU loses, about all you ever see from Izzo is whining and complaining, either about his players or the way the game was officiated. I can't remember very many times when he actually gave the other team some praise. Not much would make me happier than the Hawks drubbing Sparty, and watching him sit there with a dejected look. This is another opportunity for the Hawks to move into the top half of the B1G and possibly move toward a little higher seed in the dance. UM was a big step backwards, but OSU at least made up for it.
