Q: How did the Iowa junior day go overall?

NAGEL: It is always good to see their facilities. I got to see all the other recruits and just meet up with all of the other players.

Q: What did you do during your trip?

NAGEL: It was pretty cool seeing all the kids. There were some really good kids from all over the Midwest who are looking at Iowa. We went and had our pictures taken then we had lunch. I talked to some of the other recruits and we socialized while we were eating. Then we got tours of the facilities. The new facilities are pretty unreal down there. Then we split up into groups and we got to listen to them talk about tight ends. It was really cool.

Q: What was your favorite part of the trip?

NAGEL: For me, it was just cool watching film and how they teach tight ends how to block. That really had me interested.

Q: Did the coaches say anything about you as a recruit?

NAGEL: I didn't really get a chance to talk to the coaches much because there were a lot of people there. I think the coaches were trying to talk more to the kids who weren't from Iowa about Iowa.

Q: How do you feel about Iowa?

NAGEL: It is a very nice school. The facilities are top of the line.

Q: When do you plan on getting back to Iowa City?

NAGEL: I am going down there for a camp and hopefully for a spring practice.

Q: What schools have offered you?

NAGEL: I have Northern Illinois, Illinois State, Eastern Michigan, and UNI.

Q: What other schools are recruiting you?

NAGEL: Iowa State, Iowa, and North Dakota State.

Q: Do you have a favorite?

NAGEL: No, I am enjoying the ride right now. It is a lot of fun being able to see schools, recruits, and coaches. It is fun and I am letting it sink in.

Q: When do you want to decide?

NAGEL: I think it will be more of during my senior year but honestly I don't know.

Q: Did you have a favorite college growing up?

NAGEL: When I was younger, I live in Eastern Iowa so of course it was always the Hawkeyes growing up. I actually watch a lot of Iowa State in sports but growing up it was Iowa.
