Heard someone point out that West Virginia, who 'the committee' deemed a
4 seed, best win so far, was vs Ohio State, who has fallen flat in the BIG10.

Yesterday, West Virginia lost to Oklahoma and this seemingly also lends to the
theory that the Committee has NO idea what they're doing in 2020.

I don't know that I'd get too carried away at this point, it was a road game. The Hawks lost at Nebraska and are only a few days away from the ass kicking they took at Purdue.

Every game on the road in the Big10 is tough.
The Hawkeyes were without starting guard, CJ Frederick at Nebby.
Purdue is on a winning streak now.

Iowa was being considered for a 4 seed, BTW.
Would have been a more solid choice, as Hawkeyes play in a
tougher conference and have played a more difficult schedule than
WV.

Yeah I mean at this point we are absolutely in the discussion, and probably the front runner for the last 4 seed. Especially considering that’s pretty much exactly what the committee said yesterday... I mean it doesn’t get any more definitive than that. This shouldn’t even be a question, frankly.

It's early February. This is fun to talk about but Iowa has to go through the tough part of our schedule now. Being a 4 seed has no bearing on the performance to end the season. If Iowa can win 5 more out of what we have left, I'll be upset with a 4 seed. If Iowa wins 2 or 3... I'll be happy with a 7 seed.

Let's remember.....the B10 didnt exactly pick up a ton of non-conference road wins either.
