What’s something that happens in movies that always makes you roll your eyes?

TV does this too - when a character is sleeping in bed and the phone rings, before they answer the phone they need for some reason to turn their bed light on.

I remember in one of the Back to the Future movies Biff had the almanac with all the sports scores and on what seemed like a random Tuesday night or something was able to flip the radio dial at the exact moment that one of the games in the almanac was ending and heard the final score to "prove" that it was the real deal.

Seems like that type of thing happens a lot in TV shows and movies, somebody will just randomly flip the channel on a day that previously seemed like a Wednesday afternoon or something and the Pro Football version of an LA NFL team (the "Bruisers" or something like that) are about to kick the winning FG or score the winning touchdown.

I suddenly have the urge to take an edible.

Yup. Someone will get a call and the other person says “Put on channel 7.” And within seconds channel 7 is on and somehow it’s still at the beginning of the news story.

Things that seem ridiculous to me.

1. Action movies with fight scenes where two guys beat the daylights out of each other for 10 minutes, but no one seems to be injured. The human body cannot take that kind of punishment.

2. The bad guys have machine guns but can't hit anybody.

3. The good guys never run of of ammo.

4. Movie that take place in major cities like New York, DC, LA, but if the good guys need to get anywhere in the city they're there in no time at all. Or, if they need to go another city that's almost instantaneous as well.
