What a crazy year in college basketball...

This is the year where a VCU, WSU, or some mid-major will make some noise. There is not one dominate team this year. If there are any teams with tons of seniors I would pick them. I think experience will pay off this tourney.
Hmmm...like maybe Iowa.
One of the reasons I don't want to be a 1 seed. This would be the year for a 16 to beat a 1. And it would be such an Iowa thing to do to be that 1 seed.
Normally I would feel that way, but for the most part, this team has not had a let down game where they play to the level of their competition. Maybe Rutgers in the first half. (don't give the Augustana answer) or Drake coming off the Iowa State letdown. They have come out and beat the teams they are supposed to. I am not saying they can't be upset at some point but this team I think is mentally tougher and deeper talent wise than recent past teams.
That's dumb. I want a one seed. Give me the easiest route possible to the Final Four. This team has four losses, every single one has been a one possession game with under a minute left, three have been to top 15 RPI teams. This team isn't losing to a 16 seed.
As crazy as the regular season has been this is probably the year the guy who goes chalk wins the office pool.
This Iowa team is in perfect position to make a final four run. Fran timed it up just right. Kirk and Fran should be running for prez and Barta head of operations. I also think parity is gonna be the thing for college basketball. Recruiting more wide spread by new technology. More and better athletes to pick from. I think this benefits Fran
Anymore the 16 seeds are barely .500 teams that come from barely D1 conferences who have gotten hot and lucky and won their conference tourneys to get the automatic bid. because if this I think we are still a long ways from seeing a 16 beat a 1.

Iowa State was also a 3 seed, not a 1. 3 #1 seeds went to the Final Four.
I had Iowa state losing 2nd round.. And will again this year.. Lack of bench hurts especially after a grueling conference tournament..
A big reasons there is no dominant team is there are very few dominant freshman other than Ben Simmons. Kentuckys freshman last year were a lot better with 3 lottery picks. Duke had two freshman last year that were lottery picks.
Duke keeps playing the way they are and they will discover what the letters NIT mean
