Redshirt freshman RB out of florida has anyone heard how he is doing. I know he had SEC offers but he came to iowa. Speed kills

K. Bryan has been a guy I have had but hope for. If I remember correctly he had a knee issue his junior/senior year and the SEC, specifically South Carolina, backed off. He was down on the depth chart last year so there wasn't much info but I think he had an injury last year. At first I thought the Mehki Sargent addition ment Bryan wasn't making it but now it sounds like we traded IWCC for another running back.

He has been battling injuries since he got here and as a consequence he is behind and is down on the depth chart.

Personally, I would not be surprised if Sargent comes in and make an impact, Bryan may want to leave ( and he likely will if Geil sees any PT this year with the new redshirt option). Bryan is very likely to now be about fifth on the depth cahrt and Young and IKM are just heading into their sophomore seasons with Sargent with three years in his service kit remaining. I don't see much hope for Bryan as the clock ticks away. Next year, Iowa's RB corps could be a top strength position.

With JaCardia Wright still on the recruiting table, Iowa may be in position to take him with his planned Fall commitment timetable. If Wright doesn't choose Iowa, then the attention most likely moves to 2020 In-state RB Gavin Williams. I am not as optimistic about Peny Boone as others when traveling to Michigan and going against Michigan and MSU for a RB of 4 star caliber.

Highly doubt Iowa takes Wright after telling JB there’s no room. I just hope Kyshaun Bryan can get healthy and contribute to this year’s team which is going to be one of the most athletic teams Iowa has put on the field.

Wright can at least play multiple positions tho

I really want Wright in this class but does not seem likely. As for Kyshaun, We'll see if he makes any noise in fall camp. If not he likely stays back on the depth chart for the time being.

Thanks all for the info. Phill steele has him rated ps33. But no mention of the injuries. Hope he gets well. I agree iowa running backs look extremely strong for 2019. We only averaged 3.7 yards per carry last year. That needs to improve this year.

Opposing defenses keyed on AW while 1st year Stanley was at the helm. If Stanley can make completion that move the chains, the running game should be very good and being the 4.5 range per carry.

So the depth chart currently sits
1a young
1b kelly Martin
2 Sargent
3 Bryan
4 Harrell

And who knows where geil and Sampson are sitting, is Harrell going to be a player that keeps switching positions, db to wr back to db then to rb, might as well put him at punter next

Since you are a Wisconsin fan, maybe you should pay more attention to your team and all those players you lost on defense.

How in the hell can you claim to be fans of two rival teams who border each other. I am going to make an executive decision and send you to be 100% Wisconsin fan. You are no longer able to claim fandom of Iowa because you are either completely full of shit or you are an idiot......either way we have enough of those here so we don’t need nor want you
