What are your March Madness plans/rituals if any?

I’ll watch all of the Iowa games and maybe a couple other games, otherwise my life stays exactly the same. Sounds like you take this pretty seriously though.

If I could get off work for Thursday and Friday I definitely would, just doesn't work with teaching and coaching, though. Will still try to catch at least part of every game like every other year.

You mean you don't put the games on the board for the kids to watch? Crap, I am teaching wrong. We are on Spring Break but I did put the Iowa game on last week. Hardest part was one of my classes had a test on Friday and I was watching on my computer as they were mad.

@Chishawk1425 I think the moral of the story is that you should not be having any more parties. It was a pretty clear sign in 2006.

Took today off to get ready to host the party all day tomorrow. Getting a couple kegs (green food coloring for green beer) and grilling burgers / brats for food. Friday my brother in law is hosting and then Saturday a family friend will host. Hopefully Iowa doesn’t face plant tomorrow or the party will be a bust.

There for 5 years, late 90’s/early 00’s, Some friends and I went to Vegas for the first weekend of March Madness, watching the games in the sportsbooks.
You owe it to yourself to go there if you haven’t experinced that.

I always take Thursday and Friday off.. Have the multiple TVs setup, wrestling on one and basketball on the others. My food tradition is Nashville hot chicken Thursday, (then deal with the belly ache the rest of the day), Ribs on friday.
2006 I was stuck at work refreshing gamecast, the office on the floor above was obviously watching, because the ceiling shook and it took an eternity for ESPN to refresh to find out what happened.

Basketball and Busch Lites all day long Thursday. Probably try to work a little bit on Friday but I'll have the games on in the background. I kind of wish Iowa played on Friday so we could just relax on Thursday.

Group of guys renting a home in Galena through Monday. When not watching BB will be eating and checking our bracket picks.
Thats where I am going. Have been getting together since around 1996 or so?

This is PT. We going to same house?

Of course I do, that's why I said I will still try to catch part of every game. The kids would stage a mutiny if I made them sit there and do work without the games on.

Rituals? I usually start off with a bowel movement. From there I move on to a shower and a shave. The dog will be waiting outside for her morning walk to Starbucks and associated bowel movement so that comes next. The morning has pretty much gone to shit so far.

I take Thursday and Friday off first weekend, but will check emails and address any hot projects within reason. Employers give PTO for a reason and it’s meant to be used. First two days of the NCAA Tournament are holidays IMO and people know I’d be watching the games on my computer all day anyway. So it’s appreciated by my teammates that I’m pretty forward about what my priorities are these two days every year.

Only an amateur hour hawk fan would mention the first round loss in 06 in a thread this week of all weeks but not surprised I guess considering the hysterical teenage girl the OP has become. Embarrassing
