What do replay officials do during a game?

In the MSU-PSU game, the Nittany Lion RB just fumbled, but the game officials ruled the player down. There was an immediate recovery by MSU. TV showed the replay a couple of times, but the replay officials don’t call don’t to look at the play. PSU gave them time to look at the play as well.

Nothing - except watch the games with no beer. I think they would be more on top of the moment if they were drinking miller lites and making in-game comments that are relevant.
