What Do You Think Biden WILL Do After the Election? What Do You WANT Him to Do?

With no pressure to avoid hurting Kamala's chances, Biden will be in a position to take BOLD ACTION.

If Trump wins, Biden will want to lock in as much of his green and pro-democracy agendas as possible, just to mention a couple of things worth protecting.

If Kamala wins, it will be a chance to shoulder some difficult choices so that Kamala doesn't have to take the blame when she assumes office.

What would you like to see Lame Duck Joe do?

If we get some good suggestions, I'll probably add a poll to this later on.

I think he will serve out his term honorably, like he has been doing. I do believe a Hunter pardon is coming, which I disagree with.

After leaving office? Who knows. Probably be a ton of leaks about how incapacitated he truly was.

Hopefully he can ride off into the sunset and enjoy life.

Honestly, as time goes on, I think Biden did more than I gave him credit for with stopping the DNC from steamrollinf the American people into a uni party.

I think he will put in some work (fund raising, etc.) to help his cancer "moon shot" and serve as an advisor on foreign policy.

Biden was a relative left-centrist until he started bending over farther and farther for the crazy wing of the party.

I can only imagine what they tried to push through him though.

I have the dude a hard time, he probably did more for us than we willer know. Keep HIS party at bay.

I hope Joe enjoys the final years of his life on a beach or doing whatever he wants to do. I just can’t imagine living out ANY of my retirement years working in politics or any job for that matter.

Shawn, Sorry for sidetracking but wanted to ask, How is Minden doing?

It’s been slow to rebuild. I’ve heard plenty of nightmare stories dealing with insurance claims and FEMA. I’ve seen some already repair and start rebuilding. There are others who still can’t get approval to tear down existing structures, or what’s left of those structures. One of those who had their house destroyed just now finally got approval for tear down and the excavators are sitting at their place today.

The bowling alley which had its roof destroyed was schedule to reopen this weekend, but has been pushed back a week. Delays were due to insurance approvals. My friend who owned an auto repair biz said he should be ready to reopen by Jan. He’s lost all of his help to other shops around the area. He’s hopeful he can get them back. His building was torn down and he’s rebuilding across the street.

It’s very sad to drive through, but there is some progress being made.

The day after the election he may spring back to life, but the day after the inauguration he will head back to Delaware a much frailer man.

Visit diaper Don in state prison.
Make no mistake. If Trump loses, his future is incarceration.

If Trump wins, Biden goes on a scorched earth campaign against the Dems who chased him out of the running. And absolutely shots all over Kamala. Period.

Give back all the Chinese bribery money that he and Hunter took. Joe could give it to the U.S. Treasury or to some disabled veterans group.

Not one serious response in over 7 hours.

How disappointing.
Your responses were serious?
Suspend arms shipments to Israel.

Pardon all immigrants for immigration-related crimes.

Pardon Julian Assange and other journalists and whistleblowers.

End sanctions on Cuba.

Ban fracking.

Because you have a brain, it's an interesting question, and you have sometimes shown that you can think.

My question for you is why you feel the need to mischaracterize my question as "authoritarianism"?
Probably because of your suggestions on what he should do....

Your suggestions show you think he's gonna become some far lefty with an ax to grind. I would say he tells the left to eat shit and that they aren't calling the shots anymore and becomes "moderate Joe from Scranton". They love fracking in Scranton. And Israel.

Reveal the truth that he has been told what to do for a large majority of his presidency. The Democratic Party has gone full on loon in an effort to get votes from illegals and criminals.

If I had to bet, I'd bet you're right. But I hope not.

Another thing he could do is build more of the Wall. That isn't popular with Dems; so if a Dem is going to do any of that, best as a lame duck. Maybe he could combine it with short-path citizenship for DACAs or something.

Some of my suggestions may not pass constitutional muster - especially with this SCOTUS - but are worth a shot. If nothing else, they refocus the conversation.

1. After he actually leaves office, I wonder a bit how long he lasts to be honest. When you're not 'forced' to be engaged, and you're the kind of guy like him who is a legislator at his core who needs to be constantly loved and suddenly nobody really cares about you after 40 years of them kissing your ass, it can get depressing pretty quickly.
2. If Trump wins, there will undoubtedly be a slew of midnight rulemaking driven by staff, and like others, I think he pardons hunter.
3. If Kamala wins, a pretty quiet transition.

This. I think he passes within a couple years.
