Well Moulton averaged 7 yards per carry on 14 carries for 96 yards and Jazz averaged 8.2 yards per carry on 9 carries for 74 yards. I normally want more passing yards and balance but Sully was hurried a lot today and in the 2nd half it looked like the hawks could have ran on them for a lot more yards.

Sully had 12 carries, 2 were maybe qb sneaks. But if his other 9 carries go to Moulton and Jazz with just straight ahead power blocking we gain about 70 more yards on avg.

We had three late 3rd and short situations and we threw the ball, and I just did not think that was the feel of the game. I dont know if that was Lester or Kirk or both but in crunch time we needed first downs with having the lead. We did not pick up any of those 3rd and shorts and we missed the last qb sneak, ball game. With 3 or 4 more first downs late in the game the hawks burn 6 to 8 minutes of game time.

I did like our throwing some on first down and we were pretty good in those of schedule type calls.

The scenario you point out has happened too many times over the past 10 yrs or so. BS had the one bad throw that was picked, but otherwise I thought he played pretty well.

KF has to let his playmakers make plays and quit making them over-thinking robots.

How are we not focusing on OL in the portal ? While i don’t think the QB and WR are all big 10’worthy

Our passing game can’t go anywhere until we have a group up front that can block.

At least then we could see more clearly if the WR / scheme is horrible
