Can someone explain to me what the current situation is with UM athletics? I thought they were just taking a 14 day pause due to some cases of the new COVID strain showing up in positive tests on the UM campus. But, wasn't that already about two weeks ago? Now, I see that they are already cancelling their game on 2/11 (a week from today), and their game on 2/14 is also now in jeopardy? What's going on there? Do they have actual positive cases in their basketball program?
Also, what will the B1G do with their schedule when they are finally able to resume play? Are they really going to try to cram in 11 games over a 3 week time period (assuming that they can resume play some time during that 3rd week of Feb)? Or, are they really going to allow them to be eligible for the B1G title without playing a full 20 game schedule?
