When I saw this thread title, I laughed so hard I nearly fell out of my chair--because I said the exact same thing to my wife during the broadcaast last night! And I added, "Back in 1970 we had one of the greatest teams in Iowa history (Fred Brown, John Johnson, & Co. who went 14-0 in the BIG) and Iowa had TWO coaches: Head Coach Ralph Miller and Asst. Dick Schultz. That was it. And no strength and conditioning guys, no nutrionists, no psychologists . . .What are they coaching?
Yep, coaches make more and do less these days. I've always wondered what that fat bald guy on the bench does & how much money he's paid. Head coaches now have their own entourage's. It's almost laughable.W

When you have a coach for every two players, and you have games like Wisconsin, USC, and UCLA, some people are left to wonder what the hell is going on . . . or something like that. LOL
