This game makes me excited to play teams that don’t know the scouting report as well and don’t just hug JBo on the three point line and hang on Garza all night.
Or that read the box score, think he’s MJ, and leave Garza isolated on the block!
Seems like he's fully recovered from his surgeries. He's moving really well, even on defense.
It is really fun having a guy on the team who is an elite 3 point shooter and has range. it absolutely is a game changer. He is moving so much better this year and he is playing some defense. Not sure how you leave him off the preseason all big ten team....no one shoots it better.
He looked extremely good last night. It’s going to be very beneficial for him playing off the ball and having joeT, keegan and pmac create open looks for him. All 3 of those guys can put it on the floor creating space for bohannon to slide to the open spots. He definitely looks more agile than he has the past few years. Hopefully he can stay healthy all season as I think this has the potential to be his best season
I thought JBO looked pretty good defensively. Several times guys tried to go around him and he slid his feet and cut them off. Seems like last year they just blew by him.
Too bad he wasn't "on" for the Oregon game when we were trying to get to the sweet 16 for the first time since 1999.
Yeah, with the rest of the team playing a great game, that was the one thing we needed to win that game.
How about we turn the page on the Oregon game? Nothing to be done about it now and this year's Hawkeye squad is totally different.
