When will the world start to isolate America?

There is plenty of blame to go around, but the majority goes to those that voted for Trump. He couldn't have won without votes.
6 million people that voted for Biden didn’t vote for Harris.

Shit, people thought Trump voters were going to vote for Harris? The democrats themselves didn’t.

They aren't blameless, but not voting doesn't give Trump a vote. It tiring that Trump is always blamed on Democrats.

You’re lying to yourself. We’ll pull back, and they’ll see they didn’t need us as much, as they thought they did.

How is that going to work? They've crippled their industry, they produce no innovation, they face an energy shortages.

I mean, for them not to need us, they are going to have to be more self-dependent. They are going to have to turn their nuclear back on, become an attractive place for business, incentivize innovation, revitalize their economies, grow their military.

Oh, the horror.

They said the same thing about the Roman Empire, the British Empire, etc.

Being arrogant is not only a fault, but the down turn of America.

Oh, by all means America can and will end. But it won't be because a bunch of weak countries decided not to play with us. I mean, that's not how those empires ended either. There's never been a greater disparity between the strength of the US and that of the rest of the world than there is right now. Hoping that France and Belgium are going to apply some pressure to get things more to your liking here...that's just not going to happen. They've abdicated any power they had.

This thread is beyond bullshit.

Go count money.
Go count aircraft carriers.
Go count money handed out.

Without the US economy and/or military every country in the world is toast. Including China ( or maybe you can share with me where China is going to export the $500 billion dollars a year in exports to the US)

Those businesses are about to find out.

Excellent answer 🤣. There must be SOMETHING right?

All of Canada collectively shit their pants at the prospect of Trump's 25% tariff reducing their economy to rubble and ash. But sure, they will "isolate us".

I totally get being very unhappy with Trump, but hoping for the rest of the world to save you isn't going to happen, and shows an extremely warped view of what the rest of the world has to offer.

Canada was going to apply a 25% tariff to the US and we backed down within the day. But, sure we don't need them...

I can't even fathom the thought process that someone could think that the USA needs Canada equally or on a similar level that Canada depends on the US. Like, if you think there is anything approximating equilibrium there, your understanding of the world is just beyond skewed.

I'm not for trade wars, and I'm not for threatening Canada with anything. It's good to have a good economic and diplomatic relationship with Canada.

But as an economic force, Canada is basically Mississippi with snow. The median income in Canada is like $50k compared to $70k in the US. It's in economic decline for decades now, it's got housing shortages, it's supposedly model healthcare system is a mess with 6 month wait times and staff shortages, and they've taken to suiciding people to save resources. It's a mess.

They can't tell us anything. It might be unfortunate that we now have a president that is acting like the USA is the world's only superpower and only economic engine in the west, and nobody can do anything about it. But it's not remotely Trump's fault that the USA IS the world's only superpower and only economic engine in the west, and nobody can do anything about it.

You're trying to make everything sound great. But, that can't be, because we're constantly told how terrible things are here in our country.

I'm not trying to make everything in the US sound great...but people have no idea how utterly garbage everything is everywhere else in the west. The constant insistence that we follow Europe and Canada as models is mindboggling as they race each other into being poverty states with tourism.

I personally don't like that at all. Not having a strong Europe weakens the US against other global threats. The lack of competition isn't ultimately the best for US innovation and efficiency.

Those countries are a lot more stable than we are right now. We have a cold civil war brewing, and it's going to get worse.

Like...you really have no idea what you are talking about, do you? Literally no idea what is happening across Europe?

Germany's government has collapsed for the first time in ages, and is being called the "sick man of Europe".

The French government collapsed in a no-confidence vote for the first time since 1962.

Trudeau just resigned under pressure in Canada.

The UK is being overrun with violent anti-immigration riots and a horrendous rape scandal.

There is literally massive instability and turmoil across Europe.

It's crazy having this conversation with someone that literally has zero idea what they are talking about.
