Have to go to Vegas for work. If I want to put a futures bet down on the Hawks where is the best place to go?

If you are just going to place a future bet do it where you are staying at.

Myself and few friends were in Vegas during the bye week. I stayed at the Cosmo and they were at the Flamingo. For the Saturdays games we did early morning bets at the Flamingo and did everything else at the Tag Bar at the Linq. It was a great bar for it. Lots of TV's, allowed outside food and had a betting kiosk attached to Caesars properties. We were placing enough wagers to get comped drinks for all of us for an entire afternoon and the lady at the kiosk brought us the halftime bets to our table. Arkansas had a miracle cover that day vs Auburn that set the tone for us.

That's a good idea. It wouldn't take long to go check every place in Vegas, so silly OP asked us.

he asked a simple question and i gave him a simple and very helpful answer. you on the other hand contributed nothing with your response.

The Flamingo Hilton has a very good sports' book and the odds are as good or better than anywhere in town. At least it was when I lived there. Don't think anything about it has changed.

They put in a Carlos and Charlies that took about half of the space of the sports book so it sort of sucks now. If I was going to sit in a sports book all day it would be the Mirage or Caesar's. As I said earlier in this thread the Tag Sports bar at the Linq was quite enjoyable with a betting kiosk.

Sorry dude, your answer sucked. If I ask you where the best place to get a burger is, your stupid answer above equates to you saying "wherever it tastes the best"

Ihave lived out here in Vegas for 8 years, there isn't much difference between any of the books. The lines are all pretty similar and have to play by the same rules. So just go where you want

There are two major sportsbooks there. Some casinos run them independently, but mostly you're going to use William Hill or Cantor at most every casino. I think Cantor is now associated with CG. The old Las Vegas Hilton used to be the place, not sure what's happened there now that's it's turned into the Westgate. I assume it is still the largest in area, but I doubt they still make their own odds any longer.

So what I'm saying is don't waste anytime looking for the best odds. They are all virtually the same, and exactly the same for CG and WIlliam Hill at whichever casino contracts out to them. Few casinos runs a truly independent book any longer.

They got these places in Vegas... I think they're called casinos? Ask a cab driver if he's heard of them and if he knows where one is. Probably be able to lay a bet at one of those places.

isnt that cute you posted an analogy that proves you dont even understand the question or the answers. ill try to type this slow enough for you to understand.
he asked where was the best place to make a futures bet, the answer to that question would be the place that has the best odds. he didnt ask the best place to watch a game or the place that has the best chairs or any other things that were brought up in this thread. yes, more than one place might have the best odds for the bet he is looking to place. i nor anyone else is going to research all of the casino odds for his bet, especially since he didnt even say specifically what bet he was trying to make.

now to your analogy, the best burger in town is a subjective thing with many different variables, so it doesnt even come close to applying here. the answer to his question can be based solely on mathematics and the answer would be the casino with the best odds for his bet. if you want an analogy it would be more like where should i buy gas at, the answer of course would be where ever it is cheapest. the less he pays per gallon the better, just like finding the casino with the best odds for his bet. all gas stations sell gas by the gallon and all casinos take bets by the dollar so the more gallons per dollar the better just like the higher odds per dollar the better. a gallon of gas is the same at every station except the price and every bet at a casino is the same except the odds.

hopefully you now understand, i doubt it though, but if you want to continue to add nothing to this thread i encourage you to do so, but i will no longer be responding to you here unless you come up with something half way intelligent .

Ha ha, I still think your answer was dumb. I sent it to arbitration and you lost. My posts had likes and yours didn't.

Back to reality, I'd be surprised if you've even been to a Vegas sportsbook. You seem to think it is like a mall's food court, where you just mill about looking at menus. The fact is these casinos are hundreds of yards apart, the odds are changing all the time (or not), and you'd never be able to know the place with the best odds.

Your answer sucked. Get over it.
