This particular statement from the administration is exactly what the video is talking about in flooding the zone. It’s so idiotic the left is wasting its time and energy on it compared to to these upcoming Medicaid cuts.

With this new budget reconciliation coming up I think they will be flooding the zone with a lot of shit like this Trump Gold card nonsense which happened to come out right when the House passed the budget resolution.

Just because I don’t take a position in one post about this certain subject doesn’t mean I am a fence sitter. I think it is very very important for people to know the strategy so they don’t get hung up with this dumb shit compared to the issues that really matter.

Basically what you do is downplay stuff with your rationalizations. Do they flood the zone? Yes, I even call that out with those terms. However, at this point, if Trump says something it will likely happen. Most everyone here that will conceptualize flooding the zone already understands the concept.

The same washing comes from the attempt to make it seem like all of this is a plan to distract people. It feels like flooding the zone or a blitzkrieg because they are going as fast as they can while they can. So the flooding the zone would happen regardless because they are pushing fast and ignoring courts.

I have seen that one and read lots of articles on the "flood the zone" tactic.

It was actually Steve Bannon's strategy and yes, Trump does "flood the zone."

That said, he is also chaotic, non-strategic, unhinged and out of control. That is the part you just seem to be glossing over while making it sound like there is method to the madness. When in reality, it's just "throw as much crazy shit as possible at people as fast as possible with no regard for downstream negative impacts" on every weird whim and obsession Trump has.

But it is literally their plan going all the way back to their first term. Steve Bannon (trumps first chief strategist) even admitted on PBS that is how they go about their strategy on everything and it hasn’t changed.

When have I glossed over that Trump is chaotic, unhinged, and out of control? I’ve said just in this thread that he always says outrageous shit, called him an idiot, and said that the new media needs to learn how to navigate through this trash because I think this will be the strategy of the right for years to come.

On the non-strategic comment, I think you guys are greatly under estimating the right. I think the administration and the right is very strategic in what they are doing. Maybe that is part of the issue of why you think I’m sane washing Trump. I think they have a very clear vision of what they want to do and laid out their vision in a Project that people talked about.
