Who Benefits from Making the Trump Tax Cuts Permanent/

Right now, apparently, none. It’s just an increase to the deficit. One can assume, however, that the deficit-conscious GOP will not be so irresponsible as to simply cut taxes without cutting spending. And historically their favorite target is the poor.
“Probably” , “apparently” and “assume”. Yet you are so confident.

Can bitch about people who make more getting a bigger benefit, but as being the one who approves payroll at the company, I know every single employee got a bigger paycheck the week the cuts were introduced. So, the converse is, everybody's paycheck would go down if they weren't extended

We have a spending problem, not a revenue problem.
Nonsense. We have a bill-paying problem and a borrowing problem.

America has plenty of money to do the things we want to do. We just have relentless propaganda designed to protect the rich that tells us we shouldn't try to have things like a world class public education system or a world class public health care system or a safe environment.

Whenever anyone resorts to the "spending problem" trope, they are spouting spouting pro-oligarch propaganda. Because, really, who benefits from pretending America can't afford to support the best lives for its citizens?

America has plenty of money to do the things we want to do.

This is somewhat true, provided you understand the following:
1. The plentiful "money" in question currently belongs to American citizens.
2. The "we" that wants to do these things is not an all inclusive we.

He was giving the Rs some benefit of doubt. Probably shouldn't have. When was the last time Rs believably cared about deficits, after all?

Do you have any reason for actually challenging his statement, or is all about word choices for you?
