I've been trying to come up with a comp to CC, past and present, pro and collegiate, and this is all I could come up with. Beast Mode -

She is teen wolf....takes over a game at a whim.

Well, she is appointment viewing for me now, and I never thought I'd say that about women's basketball. She does amazing things on a nightly basis. The same reason I would watch Michael Jordan or Sammy Sosa in his prime. So, while I won't compare her abilities to Jordan, my feelings about tuning in when she is playing is similar.

Nancy Lieberman was kinda similar if I’m not mistaken. Highlights are similar anyway.

Way better then Cheryl Miller? Lol.
Some hyperbole but skills-wise, probably equal or better. The women's game has come a long way in 30 years. If you look at their PPG averages in college, I think Caitlin has the edge so far.

So a complete retraction of what you originally said. Got it.
No it's not. Geez. Sorry I hurt your feelings. If Caitlin Clark played Cheryl one on one in her prime, Caitlin wins. That good enough?

Cheryl was further above her peers because the women's game wasn't what it is today.

No, she doesn't beat Cheryl Miller in a game of 1/1. HORSE, maybe, but it seems like Cheryl may have used a regulation ball, versus what is used today, when she played?

Before we get carried away. She needs a ton of improvement on valuing the Basketball....9 turnovers as well as countless other forced passes are not something to be overlooked. Speedy, lightening quick and great 3 shooter.....piss poor judgement.
So you're contribution to the world is being a wet blanket? Must be so proud. I can't remember you being around much so thanks for another miserable person to put on ignore.

Bad, lazy take. If she were never to play another game, she would already be remembered as one of the best of all time. You're missing the forest for the trees

While she is number one nationally in scoring and assists, she unfortunately is probably number one in turnovers. The one chink in her armor and it is a big one. Hopefully, she can get it under control. But, what a talent!

Purely from the perspective of being a transcendent talent that is single-handily changing the game itself, I’d say Steph Curry.

I'm not sure thats fair. She just see's things at a different level then the players she's playing with. I watched last night again, as she's made this team, MUST watch TV, and thats not been the case for me before. Several of those turnovers and many this season were on plays where her team mates could have made plays on the ball, but they either were not ready, or just didn't handle the ball when it arrived. While some of that is still on Clark, she just see's things at a different speed and its that heightened sense that makes her special. Heading up the court she see's the shot clock is already at 15 seconds, and has to alert the officials that there's a clock malfunction. This while she's dissecting the defense bringing the ball up court. Her mental grasp of how to play the game probably exceeds her athletic skill, and thats really saying something.

Found the guy who loves the assist-to-turnover ratio stat. I'm sure you think Tyus Jones is the best PG in the NBA too.

I guess, but I'd really have to disagree on how big a "chink in her armor" it is. I'll take the overall production, and her ability to seriously RAISE the level of play around her. Compare her to Joe T. as an example. Love Joe T and his hustle and effort, but look at the difference in production. Joe goes out of control and turns it over going to fast, but he gives you effort on defense. Clark has some turnover issues, )sometimes because her team mates don't see things at the same speed, BUT she's a prolific scorer who can light it up. Leads the nation in scoring and ASSISTS, (never been done before), and raises the level of play around her.
