Cmac led the nation in assist/to margin a couple of years ago, but few wanted him playing point guard for Iowa.Found the guy who loves the assist-to-turnover ratio stat. I'm sure you think Tyus Jones is the best PG in the NBA too.

This. Young b-ball players across the country are seeing her and thinking or saying “I want to be like her”. I have a granddaughter who is 8 and started playing 2 years ago. She is mesmerized by her and watches every chance she can.Purely from the perspective of being a transcendent talent that is single-handily changing the game itself, I’d say Steph Curry.
And we get to see Keegan/Kris for the guys after a few years of Garza. Been fun. For those gridiron fans who miss offensive prowess, tune in to watch Bluder or Frans teams. Its showtime......Caitlin Clark is our reward for being an Iowa fan. She is hands down the best player I've ever seen at Iowa.
One more turnover. She would have had a triple double. 🤪Before we get carried away. She needs a ton of improvement on valuing the Basketball....9 turnovers as well as countless other forced passes are not something to be overlooked. Speedy, lightening quick and great 3 shooter.....piss poor judgement.
Pistol Pete is in a class of one. He's the one player I think of who could do things nobody else could before or since. Amazing indeed.I think I could watch that clip of Maravich hundreds of times and never get tired of it.He was amazing.
This is Doodle's take also. She is just so far ahead of things from a mental acuity and precognition standpoint and she currently expects everyone around her to be at that level. She simply sees things at a speed far exceeding her teammates. It's almost like a video game to her. But as Caitlin's game management skills and overall approach matures, she will naturally tone down the turnovers. And assuming she plays in the WNBA, the mere fact of having a team full of more athletic players around her will also help expedite that process.I'm not sure thats fair. She just see's things at a different level then the players she's playing with. I watched last night again, as she's made this team, MUST watch TV, and thats not been the case for me before. Several of those turnovers and many this season were on plays where her team mates could have made plays on the ball, but they either were not ready, or just didn't handle the ball when it arrived. While some of that is still on Clark, she just see's things at a different speed and its that heightened sense that makes her special. Heading up the court she see's the shot clock is already at 15 seconds, and has to alert the officials that there's a clock malfunction. This while she's dissecting the defense bringing the ball up court. Her mental grasp of how to play the game probably exceeds her athletic skill, and thats really saying something.
try taking her out 😂Why is she still in the game when Iowa is up 80-47?
